I agree, but I also understand that culturally anything potentially related to child porn is something people have Really Strong Feelings about, so it's not something where I assume that most people I meet will have similar opinions about it.

That's kind of why I hate discussing those types of subjects because people get so emotional about it they can't see reason all they can see it "RARGH IF YOU'RE ANYTHING BUT TOTALLY AGAINST THIS YOU ARE AN EVIL APOLOGIST AND SHOULD GO DIAF"

And you just can't have any kind of discourse with people like that. Or people who have already decided they're going to judge you if you think anything but their exact stance.

Yeah, and the thing is...I don't personally have a bone in this fight. I mean, the only teen ship I really shipped hard was when I was a teen myself. I actually prefer Manga characters to be a bit older looking.

So then, it basically comes down to principle - I think people should be able to like whatever the hell they like unless they harm anyone with it r/l, and I don't think that people who like underage anime or comics ships are necessarily into minors in the real world.

But when debating principles, it might not be the hill I'm willing to die on.
