Just because your pedophile friends are women doesn't make it okay to be a pedophile. Women are very often bad people.

They're not pedophiles though, unless you're insinuating that they're abusing pixels or pieces of paper.

Men who are int this aren't pedophiles either, but you have to admit when someone says "a person who likes shota/loli" the immediate picture that comes to mind is a fat, mouthbreathing weeaboo who lives in his mom's basement. That's kind of what our culture has stereotyped them as. Seeing the fact that a bunch of preppy, attractive ladies are into it goes directly against the stereotype.

It's a shame that pedophiles are stereotyped that way. Lots of successful, attractive people are child predators. People need to realize that just because someone seems cool, it doesn't make their desire to rape children are okay.

Same with serial rapists in general. The attractive, charismatic, professional ones tend to get away with it a lot longer because they don't fit the popular stereotype of a rapist as a creepy, unattractive, aggressive loser.

But any of that still doesn't have anything to do with the actual point in question here, about whether porn involving fictional cartoon characters has anything to do with one's real life sexual predilections.
