Original anon - I don't think that's entirely fair. Also important to note is that the person wrote it in 2000ish. This was way before almost everybody had access to the internet and knew how to google. So they couldn't have known that there might actually be a chance their work might be read by someone they'd rather not find it someday. And honestly, self-censorship is a right. It would be different if ff.n had copyright laws (meaning they owned your work) but AFAIK they didn't at the time and do not now. The other website the fic was posted on was her own, so.
