I think the comparison would work better if the existing state of representation for POC and white characters were comparable.

It's just something that people who hate SJWs and social justice in general say. They seem to forget the complaints about the whitewashing of that Airbender movie or Scarlett Johansson being cast in Ghost in the Shell or the whitewashing in that canceled Akria movie.

Really what are SJWs anymore? When it first started it was clueless, usually white, children or young adults who used social justice to bully and score points. Now it's anyone who gets on anti-PC assholes nerves. Using SJW as an insult lost it's bite around 5 years ago.
