I don't know how to interact with people who agender, bigender, etc. Otherwise no.

Presumably the same as you would with anyone else? I mean, I've personally never met someone who presents as such (unless I have and it's just never come up), but... do you tailor your conversations to be male/female oriented?

No, I'm always worried that I'll mess something up and they'll take offense. Which is dumb, I know.

Ah. Well, I think despite what the internet would like you to believe, if you accidentally address someone by the wrong pronoun for whatever reason, it's not likely they're going to jump screaming down your throat.

And if they did, well... at least you know they're not someone you'd want to be friends with, regardless.

DA. Yeah, some of them will freak out. I knew this trans guy, but I knew him before he transitioned, and I knew him for years as, well, as a girl. So when he transitioned and wanted us all to call him by a new name, sure, that's fine, but oh my god the freak outs when people slipped up and called him by the name he'd gone by before telling people he was trans??? Jesus Christ. Like, we did our best to change quickly to the new name, but when you know someone as something for 10+ years, it's not going to be an overnight, completely seamless change, and yeah, people screwed it up sometimes. But he just had zero tolerance for any fuck ups. Ugh.

I don't really talk to him anymore, but that's because he moved across the country and neither of us are great at keeping in touch.
