There are 2 types of conjunctivitis- bacterial and viral. If you're getting some kind of gross discharge, you've got the bacterial kind and can get some prescrip drops that will help. It will probably clear up on its own if you don't treat it (don't touch them, wash your hands all the time) but you can make yourself more comfortable/better faster if you treat it. But if they're just persistently red and itchy and sore with no discharge, you've got the viral kind and there's nothing the dr can do about it. So you just gotta wait it out. You can use the allergy kind of otc drops and they might help some.

I also recommend chucking any mascara you may have used while you're symptomatic.

So far it's just really watery. I'm constantly crying out of one eye. It feels the slightest bit like burning/being dry but we also have huge fires that have been going for days now and have dried out the house. The one eye is pink but it doesn't really hurt. I wouldn't categorize it as itchy. *knock on wood I don't develop the symptom*

It's just when I woke up this morning my eye was crusted over enough that I had to manually open it. My brother and his two kids had pink eye at Christmas but they were taking medicine and supposedly no longer contagious. The last I saw them was last Saturday and I wasn't sure if symptoms would show up so long after the fact.

Sounds like pink eye to me. It doesn't necessarily have to be itchy to be pink eye.
