Boromir is unpopular??? He's been my favourite since 1977, the year I read LotR for the first of 30 times.

Okay, maybe I'm wrong about him, but then I feel bitter that most fic I have seen of him never kept him alive. That's probably the big reason back in 2004 I quickly had to move on to other pairing options after I wore out what fic I could dig up for Aragorn/Boromir.
