uh no, it's more like as Star Wars fans we don't want people to view the prequels and figure all the Star Wars films are that immensely shitty, and write them off too. I have several friends who have only seen episode 1, or 2, and have decided they don't want to bother with the rest of Star Wars because they're terrible movies. THAT'S why I tell people not to bother with the prequels unless they get through 4-6 and feel a need to have more badly-acted, poorly-CGed backstories.
