My problem is this one fan in my fandom who whines about how nobody ships her rare pair of two badly written women. (I'm not implying you're her, but your comment made me think of her.) She thinks the only reason the whole fandom doesn't love it is because they're too busy fapping to the juggernaut slash ship, and if they weren't such raging misogynists they'd see how practically canon her ship is.

The reality is that both characters are pretty minor, while they're supposedly friends they're never shown interacting, and one of them spends almost all of her screen time dropping hints about her crush on the male main character. This fan of the pairing is the pinnacle of everything I hate about femslash and female character stans. They'll stretch as far as they can to prove that anyone not liking their flawless ladies is because misogyny and most other fans buy it. If you don't, that just proves their point about misogyny!
