She...seriously never considered that counselors need to be discreet about that stuff? I've never worked in that field and I KNOW THAT.

I don't know which would be worse in that instance, her saying that as a lie or genuinely believing it. That's scary.

So agreed on your first paragraph, too. Some of the behavior I've seen online from supposed adults has left me seriously tempted to find out where all of them live and take away their computers for good. It's really bizarre. And sad.
