My grandpa always says he fell in love with my grandma when they were kids. Their schools were separated by a fence (this was back when schools were segregated by gender in my country), and he says he'd look at her through the fence. They're both 80+ years old now, have been married for more than 60 years, and are still in love <3

Cutest recent thing that springs to mind: I just read a Sherlock fic where Sherlock is a vampire who can turn into a tiny fruit bat. Sherlock gets in the habit of flying around over John's head (because he is obsessed with John) and at one point John scoops Sherlock into his shirt pocket to keep him from frightening Mrs. Hudson.

Cracked? Yes. But also so, so adorable.
