If someone says their fave book is Bunnicula then I can assume they've read more than what their high school mandated. If their entire reading list of favorite books is off a HS curriculum then we probably won't have much to talk about. If their 4 favorite books are Catcher, Scarlet Letter, Crucible, and To Kill a Mockingbird... it's the "basic" of books
