Do you do graphics at all? I've found even pretty simple photosets can net a lot of reblogs and followers. At least in my case, they're quicker to churn out than artwork. A photoset that takes a half an hour to create can net a few thousand notes, while decent art that took hours might land only a few hundred.

That's been my main problem finding DA blogs. Lots and lots of very active, very crazy fans.

I don't know how everyone's blacklist works, but I was always able to follow people, and then blacklist their url so I didn't see any of their posts, ever.

Unfortunately no. I'm sure I could eventually learn, but I've always been pretty hopeless when it comes to things like gifs or making text art look good.

I guess it never occurred to me to just follow then blacklist, haha. Maybe I'll give that a try.
