(Anonymous) 2016-01-06 03:32 am (UTC)(link)For the record, I was the only one in the class who didn't LOOOOOVE that book and I think I got a bad grade on the report, haha.I looked it up and apparently the narrator is only there for the prologue and the epilogue. But it just seemed so weird to me. He was interacting with Ethan but we didn't know his name or anything it just seemed so pointless.

Fuck yeah he was pointless! It seemed like Nick-Carraway-esque, even though TGG came out later, and did it better IMO.
