Okay. I get that this prob isn't fingal. They can't possibly make ALL the WWE secrets on here.

But...when did WWE become so popular again? I know it got really popular in the early 00s and some of the 90s, but suddenly I see a shit ton of secrets about it on here. Do they have a new group of hot guys on the roster? Did they outdo their previous soap opera drama? Did two divas make out?

Yeah I think they got a bunch of interesting new wrestlers doing interesting storylines and shit.

In 2013 the main roster got an influx of new guys and new storylines, dude in the secret included. Last year the main roster got an influx of new women and... well, we still have hope they can do better by them because the women's match on Monday was amazing and the one storyline they have going is fairly compelling for a main roster women's storyline.

Plus, you've got NXT which is just excellent all around and had a women's main event match and a women's iron(wo)man match this year that fucking blew the roof off their respective arenas.

"Shippable new wrestlers" is a good way of putting it. Shippable new wrestlers who have either hot, angsty, fraught relationships with other wrestlers, or warm, huggy, enthusiastically adorable relationships with other wrestlers. There's a lot of hugging going on in the WWE, and a lot of crying. Wrestlers kissing other wrestlers' boots in the ring. Wrestlers yelling "I LOVED YOU!" in anguish at other wrestlers. Athletic, charismatic female wrestlers calling each other "sweetheart" and "my girl." Mocking/semi-flirty/funny interactions on Twitter. Lots of access to their private lives (oh look, the cute Irish guy loves LEGO! Awww, the vanity heel adopted a stray puppy!)

Lots of young, hot indie guys who aren't massive and muscle-bound--not that people don't dig them too, but a lot of the new crop are quick and limber and really good at emoting. There's a lot of delicious visuals to be had, and with fandom so heavily visually-oriented on Tumblr there's just an embarrassment of riches right now.

Which Irish wrestler likes Lego? Is it Sheamus? I'm in love with Sheamus.

Finn Balor.

Hey, I love Sheamus too!

Yeah, it's Finn Balor, who's currently in NXT. (And utterly yummy)

Sheamus is an adorkable Star Wars fan, though. Dorky hot wrestlers are my favourite thing. :)
