Where is the line between appreciating a womans good looks and being wrong about it?

Would someone be approaching a woman and telling her about their feelings? Or just from afar?

Contact. If you force your presence on her it becomes wrong. If you touch her you're an asshole. If you talk to her it becomes creepy. It's still creepy to look, but she's unharmed by you just looking so it's better.

Careful she doesn't throw coffee in your face though.

...it becomes creepy if you talk to her?

How exactly is a person supposed to approach a woman they find attractive if talking to a woman they find attractive is creepy? Are humans supposed to only try to date people they DON'T find attractive?

Appreciate all you want. Just don't touch or bother them.

Does trying to get to know someone or ask them out count as bothering?

I say this as a feminist woman: It depends on how desirable you are. Gross people giving attention of any kind is always unwanted and kinda makes women feel uncomfortable and kinda not ok. Attractive guys? I can overlook a lot.

Trouble is you don't know which one you are until you approach a woman. So you either have to man up an accept that you're going to creep women out, and that means accepting that you're not a good person and a real potential danger to 90% of the women you meet. Or not and keep out of our way. Letting women take charge of the situation is the way to be the good person. but then there's an awful lot of people out there who need the man to be the person taking charge. I don't know what the right answer is, but I feel it's accepting the way women feel about you and taking personal responsibility for that.

I'd say it's what form this "appreciation" takes, and whether or not it's unwanted.

The line is curved and has too balls hanging from the underside.

It's the penis.

For me, if you have a penis I do not want to know that you want to fuck me. I don't even want to suspect that you want to fuck me. I'd prefer to think of you as a hollowed out silhouette going about your life independent of my presence.

If you are without a penis there is literally nothing, NOTHING, you can do that I will object to. You want to slap my titties about and call me daisy? I'm ok with that. Appropriate flirting is all about which directions your genitals point in.

Can I (a female) walk up to you in front of your parents and stick my fingers up in you?

Somehow, I'm less willing to view this as a troll comment than the "it depends on how hot you are" one.

I learned from Tumblr that the line is between being a man and being a woman.

It's more of a this then a clear line thanks to subjectivity and context

Pretty close, apparently, and that's not something I'll complain about. If you can cross it without saying a word, then it's even more easily crossed by saying the wrong words. Just remember that it's not about you; it's for the benefit of people who're sick of being treated like their existence begins and ends with how fuckable they are.

(Actually, a good point of comparison might be how incredibly easy it is to be a creep to someone with a facial disfigurement. They're both cases where someone really doesn't want to be judged solely on appearance.)

the line consists of common fucking sense

It depends entirely on how it's done. I once had a random guy come up to me in a store and tell me that he thought I was really pretty. He never asked for my number or tried to give me his or anything like that, it was literally just "Hey, I'm not trying to hit on you or anything, but I just wanted to tell you that you're really pretty."

Now that? That was totally non-creepy and made me feel really good.
