I don't like people sexualizing just barely legal girls (or boys) either.

The point (to me) isn't whether teens will have sexual experience. Many will--with people about their own age. Fumbling, awkward first love experiences that will hopefully help them become mature.

But I know I personally wasn't mature enough to have sex when I was underage or even when I was 18.

And I think it's gross when adults want to have sex with people who are still mentally immature. Yes, I think 18 is in that range. Study up on the maturity of the brain at various ages, see what I'm talking about.

I'm guessing by the secret that you're a guy? You probably don't understand the full pressure of the male gaze/sexualization/underage skeeviness that many women have had to experience and navigate all their lives. It's twisted as fuck.

But don't worry, get your jollies from anime. At least that's pretend. :D

Definitely concur about 18. Hell, even at 20, 21 the statistical average of people still have teenage-level impulsiveness and lack of long-term thinking.

I did some really dumb shit when I was that age that I wouldn't even consider for two seconds now that I'm a decade older.
