There should be no reason why a person with a healthy disposition should be attracted to children. If a person finds attraction in a child, then something is very wrong biologically.

Attraction is rooted in the biological need to propagate the species and children cannot fulfill the role of propagating the species. Thus, persons are only supposed to be attracted to potentially fertile persons.

Girl in the secret is obviously not a child, so there's nothing wrong with thinking that she's hot.

Though I don't agree with coercing children into sexual situations or anything of the like, I also think that society's typical views on pedophilia and such are irrational and exaggerated. Pedophilia in itself is entirely harmless; the only way it can be harmful is through actions perpetrated by such individuals (pedophiles). Essentially, the same applies to the sexualization of children (or characters with child-like qualities) in fiction, be it anime or otherwise.

In short, those girls you see in anime wearing 'perverted' clothing (though I have no idea how clothing can possibly be inherently 'perverted') aren't hurting anyone.

You know people use the same argument against gay people, right? Also what, nobody should be attracted to older women? People are attracted to everything from children to dogs to shoes. Attraction is not a problem, what you do with that attraction is.

I don't think there's anything wrong with thinking she's hot per se, but just looking at that art I have sneaking suspicions that her character is not treated very respectfully in the show and she's just a fetish object. That comes part and parcel with this kind of content.

I don't even think moe is about pedophilia, it's about infantalizing women.
