(it was part of a debate over the extent to which pedophilia is an attraction, how this differs from a sexuality/mental illness and all that jazz - obviously it was repeated at length that however it was classed it was morally evil to practice)

I pointed out clearly it was better thought of as a sexuality than a mental illness (though with slightly more nuance here, the definition of mental illness in relation to harm etc), and you and IIRC Dethtoll absolutely lost your shit at this.

Ignoring how creepy it is that the quote is 2 years old, I don't see him saying that in there.

He appears to be saying that it would be better and more effective if society treated it like a problematic sexual orientation so pedophiles would seek treatment instead of hiding from going to jail and probably being murdered
