I'm a preschool teacher, and I hate it when parents get gendered attitudes like that. The amount of boys we have who like to wear dresses and have tea parties and the amount of girls we have who hate doing both of those is not insignificant. Actually, I think our boys this year had more fun with our "Royal Ball"/tea party in the drama area this past few weeks than the girls did. Well, maybe it was about equal. But still!
