at that point in the show I was willing to cut him some slack tbh

because he'd had his identity violated in a super insidious way, he's traumatized, and like - it's not like he can talk to an ACTUAL therapist, and the only other person who has any clue what's going on is Jess, who has zero interest in listening to him

but as the show went on he *consistently* valued his own perceived 'heroism' over trish's wishes and obvious growing discomfort, actually getting worse instead of better, leading to the decision to go back on the pills in the first place - yeah, he's a dude who flat out does not respect her as a person, violates hella boundaries, and the red flag was there early

She wasn't hostile to him until he started sleeping with Trish. She even invited him to the group therapy and he was the one to turn it down.
