Re: New Year, New Experience

Week one nearly finished of "D Tox" program. I hate the word D Tox and I'm already pretty healthy, but I'm doing it to try different foods while avoiding others. I eat a ton of greek yogurt but I can't eat dairy on this program. And those frozen food meals? Bye bye! So far I'm learning what it really means to meal prep your meals for the week. And that it is possible to get a side effect of hot flashes. Which is weird at 37 years old! I've got two more weeks to go, so I hope to make the best of it.

That sounds like an overall positive experience and a commitment to better nutrition if it's not just a temporary thing.

I hope you learn some good tools for yourself, anon!

Does this claim to be an actual "detox" diet? Because that stuff is nonsense. Your body gets rid of toxins by itself, assuming your liver and kidneys are functioning properly. If it didn't, you'd die. No diet will "detox" you.
