I thought I would get sick of Flight Rising, but I really haven't. I'm still completely hooked on the pretty dragons.

Same. I joined a year and a half ago, and I'm a middle-aged adult. I thought Id' get bored of it right away... though of course I left Neopets (multi-year member) for it, so I suppose I shouldn't be surprised I've stuck with FR.

Wow, I just found/logged into my NP account. It's 11 years old. That's almost scary...

This is actually my first pet site. I never did Neopets. I'm just really into dragons and into making them pretty and giving them nerdy names.

I'm sure I'm very biased, but FR just seems like the better site than NP. The lack on breeding on NP was the nail in the coffin for me. Breedign dragons is fun! So much potential!

Breeding is one of the best parts. Right now I'm making bank on butterfly hatchlings. And so many pretty hatchlings going off to new homes. It always makes me happy when someone likes one of my babies.

Yes! While I of course love making treasure, I'd much rather sell a dragon to a new home than kill it off send it up to the army in the sky, even if it's for less money.

I'm slacking off on butterfly hatchlings, since I don't want them myself. Remember when we had iridescent but no shimmer? Crystal but no facet? How those hatchlings had so little value compared to the one with the matching gene, once that second gene came out? So some part of me is pulling a big NO to to butterfly without the matching body gene. :/ It's illogical, but I'm having a hard time getting passed it.

I just really like butterfly. I think it looks really good with iridescent. I'm sure I'll eventually gene up my butterfly pairs with petal, but right now I think it looks pretty on its own. I'm just super into butterfly. I didn't think anything would be as nice to me as the triple shiny genes, but butterfly is up there.

I almost wonder if I'll like it better with iridescent. I tend towards more simple/less complex-looking dragons... (Though cherub only just caught my eye, so I've started breeding for that.)

We've gotten so many new genes lately, I wish they'd add a new breed! They said they wanted to do a couple a year, but it's now been a year since the last new one.

I like it a lot with iridescent on triple dragons. Just that tiny splash of an extra color. It looks super pretty.

I think this one is my favorite of my butterfly dragons. Just a subtle bit of purple: http://flightrising.com/main.php?p=lair&id=98539&tab=dragon&did=18025871. And this is my other favorite with the tiny splash of pink: http://flightrising.com/main.php?p=lair&tab=dragon&id=98539&did=18745373

I would love a new breed. I'm just waiting especially for the color wheel expansion, though. I've got 12 eggs in my vault right now just waiting for the expansion.

Oooh you're right, those triples are great!

I have 10 eggs, but 6 of them are nocturnes, which I don't like. I'll be selling those off.

Aw. Nocs are my favorite breed. But they will sell really well when the time comes I'm sure.

My tastes are really, really narrow on FL. I like basically only Wildclaws right now, though I'll dabble in Pearlcatchers and Skydancers. I like a tiny handful of genes, too. Every time something new is added, I hope I'm going to like it so I can expand my tastes a bit.

At least my lair never gets full! :P

I like way too many breeds. My favorites are nocs, wildclaws, coatls, and Spirals. But I'm quite fond of imperials as well and I have at least a couple dragons of most breeds. The only one I really hate is ridgebacks.

I'm more picky about genes. I'm mostly into the shiny genes plus now butterfly, though I have one pair each for most of the recent genes for selling purposes.
