Totally agree, OP. I've tried to get into a/b/o, but I find the self-lubricating asshole thing so fucking nasty. Whenever someone talks about how the dude's asshole is getting wet it reminds me of diarrhea.

I'd rather just read about a guy with a vagina at that point.

Lmfao thank you, there was one fic I read where they were describing it (the lubrication) as like "running down the backs of his thighs" and there was "a smell" to it and I sat there like "they're literally describing a bad case of the runs", and I couldn't believe that it wasn't obvious to others.

I have nothing against the self-lubing assholes, and I've seen some people do this trope alright, but in general the whole idea of it just kind of grosses me out. There's a reason why our assholes don't self-lubricate. :/
