Harry/Ginny.

Nothing against JKR and it's not like such a huge NOTP for me that I can't see it anywhere ever nor do I go chasing after the people who ship it (my bestie being one of them! lol), but this one just came so out of the left field for me. If JKR had spent more time developing their relationship a bit more like she did with, say Harry&Hermione (and I don't ship Harry/Hermione) I'd probably be able to see it, but as it is they just don't do it for me.

I've always had a problem with Harry/Ginny because I don't like wish fulfillment pairings. I think it's lame when one character idolizes another and then they wind up together. It seems to asymmetrical and egocentric to me.

I agree, and I think I would have enjoyed the pairing if say, Ginny either got to meet Harry, bonded with him, finding out he's not the hero she has idealized but still a good dude and she still likes him for who he really is rather than the idealized version of him, etc.
