(Anonymous) 2016-01-13 12:39 am (UTC)(link)On a similar note, it's not a requirement, really, more just something I really like when I come across it, but if someone's writing a story that's set in the canon itself, like a case fic or a conversation at work or among friends or whatever, I really enjoy it when the writer can make it feel like it could be part of an actual episode, or a continuation of what likely would've happened after the episode/scene ended. It's fun.
