Shit, I feel like you hit the nail on the head here :/. That's my fear, that it feels tacked on, because well, my characters are already in a relationship, so there's less UST to resolve, and they do get their emotional climax before the porn.

Many people (who are not me) might not mind? I know that it's one of my pet peeves.
Another option is, you could post the fic, and do the porn as a "2nd chapter" omake thing, and then you get to have the pwp linked to the fic, without compromising your plot or emotional climax.

That's good advice! I'm a bit self-conscious about my writing and I want to improve with each chapter, so if I'm ever doubtful about something I'll take the advices of people who agree I'm wrong for doing it that way over the people who think it could work (nothing against the other dudes, it's just a personality flaw). I think my porn bit comes too soon after the emotional release and I need to make it flow in more naturally so it's nicer.

I don't know about your contrarianism, but I think it sounds like you've already got a gut feeling about this.
Like I said above, I think a lot of romance fics end up trashing their climax in favor of porn, which I think is a shame. So of course I support you going away from that XD and I don't think that them being in a relationship already should bother. People like to obsess over UST-type drama, but I personally like established relationship fic too.
