The point you're supposed to take from this, is that Rey is going far far away from Finn. TFA was the first movie of the trilogy but they rushed their friendship at the first part, because they won't see each others for sometime. There will be no Rey romance. Jedi are chaste.

Correction: Jedi are celibate, not chaste. (At least, in the Jedi Order they were - as Veth said we don't know if that's going to be a thing now.) Chastity includes sex within marriage, and Jedi aren't supposed to get married.

Also, there was the "we'll see each other again" line, so...
