But Pearl clearly doesn't like Mayor Dewy and the only person she's ever shown to romantically love is Rose...?

Sorry, but the "x isn't really a lesbian!" argument dosent work for shows like SU.

But gems don't have genders so they're not REALLY lesbians either. :P

Sex. Gems don't have SEXES. They have genders, their genders are female.

And even if they aren't, there are plenty of agender people who identify as lesbian or gay or bi. And even if that's not enough, they'd be agender who's exclusively attracted to other agender people which kind of seems like the uber form of homo to me.
