Wow, good for you. I really mean it. You've done a good job of staying away from the scarier/more toxic/disgusting corners of fandom. Some of the worst things I've ever read have been in youtube comments.

I mean, even just in terms of spiteful anti-ship troll fics, I've seen worse. Anyone remember the hate fic the that had Remus snapping and murdering Tonks because he was angry that he'd been guilted into being in a relationship with her and he hated her because she wasn't Sirius? That was much more messed up (though it did have the unintentional hilarity that Remus was pushed over the edge by Tonks calling him 'love' which was supposedly Sirius' special name for him - except it's a really common form of address in much of the UK).

What was it called? "A Little More Hate In the World," something like that.

I saw a kink meme that asked for a fairly generic Thor/Loki prompt.

A mod went off on it and 'filled' it with a story where Loki realizes what a toxic relationship he has with Thor as 100% platonically his brother and runs off to Earth where he meets a beautiful supportive human woman and has three children with her and how glad he is because if he'd stayed hanging around Thor he'd be miserable and evil and not have found the true love of his life. They marked it as filled and took it off the prompt list.

And then, being a mod, they threatened to ban anyone who tried to complain that it wasn't what the poster asked for and shouldn't be considered filled.
