I actually have seen most of those titles, and enjoyed them to varying degrees, though not as much as I enjoyed my favourite titles as a teenager.

It's just that those kinds of big titles get taken by the big names/old-timers in the industry. If you're a peon like me, by default you work on almost exclusively crap. I don't know if I can stick through it long enough to get there. There's also the low pay and the long hours. The kind of low pay and long hours you have to really love the job to put up with.

I've been toying with the idea of going back to school for a while now. I'm probably just going to quit and go study computer science instead. More money, more stability, and maybe I can stop hating anime so much.
