Yeah, I think so. It is a bit long and I think it could have done with some of it cut out (some very specific scenes). But be warned there are many graphic and gory scenes.

Hm. Movies that need more editing bother me a bit, but not so much if the rest of the content is pretty compelling. I can handle graphic/gore (except for some very specific things, in which case I cover my eyes.)

The length may not bother you! They were just some specific things that I did not feel added anything to do the movie and just bored me. My sister loved the movie as well.

I don't mind being spoiled. What specific scene should have been cut? I'm so curious now.

All the dream sequences except for maybe the last one. They felt so out of place and silly in the movie.

The Revenant is basically The Grey + Gladiator.
