I once went to a football game and read a book the entire time. Does this count?

Ha, you went to a football game, you freak. Ha!

To be fair, my SO's family dragged me. I was definitely not happy about it.

DA, but I totally think it counts. Any kind of football is ridiculously boring to watch, so I really can't blame you.

Oh, wait, except Australian football. It looks completely insane and I never understand anything that's going on, which makes it sort of amazing?

I saw about 10 minutes of a game of Aussie football once. It was incredibly homoerotic and therefore pretty good in my book.

We are all still very confused about american football and why it requires helmets and padding. Do you not actually want to kill each other? What is the point then? Explain.

The point is you put the handegg in your hands and then run places. I think also you stare at your teammates butts and touch them a lot.

American football is weird.

No weirder than rugby.

We goop our player's head injuries with vaseline so the blood doesn't obscure their vision and send them back onto the field.

It's called the blood rule.

the blood rule

Sounds more like the title of some unimaginative fantasy series lol.

... It would be more interesting if they all had swords and they were fighting over who gets to wear the tiara.

Well now that just makes me want to see tourneys writ large. There would be huge scandals over which celeb (or more likely current reality star) was giving their ~favour~ to the players, and we could hear actually cool commentary about whose sword was made by who...

I didn't think we could make a sport sound more homoerotic than football already does, but I think the swords have done it.

See you're totally the kind of person I'd find interesting at a soccer match lol.

It was the only book I could find on short notice. A trashy erotica novel.

It even had straight shota in it, which as we all know is a rarity.
