Anything from the legend of Arthur that isn't Arthur, isn't Kay, and can't be conveniently shortened like Lancelot or Gareth. Prime candidates include Tristam, Galahad, Gawain, and Lionel.

I think Arthur's pretty nerdy, but in a cute way. Like the aardvark.

Lancelot is waaay nerdier than Tristam. Lance isn't any better.

Maybe I don't find Tristam/Tristram/Tristan nerdy because it's my cousin's name and he's not.
