I think it has a very slow pacing. The story unfolds a little at a time rather than in a clear cut arc and that could certainly throw a lot of people off if you're not getting enjoyment out of Steven's day to day stuff.

It really likes to give you what Steven knows when he knows it, which can be a problem when the other characters can't or won't tell him what the hell's going on. I'd love to see it shift POVs more and provide more information.

Please no. It's already been firmly established from Steven's POV. To shift to others this late in the game would be as jarring as an author suddenly changing tenses in the middle of a book for no apparent reason.

um... hardly. it's an episodic series. it would not be jarring at all for there to be an episode or two from other characters' POV haha. usually those kinds of episodes end up being the most poignant, when i think of other animated series that have done this. tv shows are not books and are not written like books.
