(Anonymous) 2016-01-16 12:54 am (UTC)(link)Also, Adam Driver is definitely hot, in that unique angular way that Adrien Brody is (through Brody is prettier). IMO, much hotter than Hayden Christensen, who does nothing for me.
However, I completely disagree with your assessment of Harrison Ford - he might not have modern pretty boy Hollywood looks, but he has been loved and acclaimed for literally decades as an actor with classic, rugged Hollywood leading man looks and charisma. He's handsome ala Paul Newman, not pretty ala Hayden (as an example). Whether of not you find his attractive is subjective, but I feel like handsome actors with charisma will always have a place in Hollywood - which is why everyone is creaming themselves over Chris Pratt.
As for Carrie Fisher, I think what you might be seeing is a difference between the high level of styling that today's stars get and and she had in the 70s. Think about it this way - if you took a starlet from today and styled them minimally, you might not think they would get cast in a Hollywood movie either.
