Usually I would agree but when the "victim" intentionally lied about her age, that's a different story. What, do you expect people to check IDs at the bedroom door?

"She lied about her age" is the defence of every child rapist ever. We cannot start letting that count as an excuse or we will have the worst guys in the world just walking around free. Rape is not defined by the lack of excuses, It is defined by facts. He. Fucked. A. Child.

A child (teenager) who wanted to be fucked. Total absence of coercion. Which is a rather significant point you're deliberately overlooking. And makes an enormous difference. You're trying to turn this into something it wasn't which is neither productive nor useful.

You're assuming then that the lie can only ever come from the adult, and that simply isn't the case. Like, if a teenager puts on old people makeup and goes to a bar, is the bartender liable for their drinking?
