I feel bad for Adam Driver.

He's said himself that he thinks he has a "weird looking" face. He's also said that he's afraid of the internet with the mass shaming. In interviews seems like a pretty nice and kind of shy guy. I can't imagine being an actor in a movie and being deluged with comments about how ugly and awful-looking I am.

I know he is a celebrity and is therefore in the public eye, but I don't think the fact that he plays a villain makes this kind of behavior okay.

Also, he looks great as Kylo Ren and his voice is very nice! I loved it through the mask when it was modulated, and was surprised that it sounded really good after he took off the mask too.

Some of us thought he was ugly when he was only known for being the boyfriend on Girls.

Yeah he's aware of how people react to his looks. Doesn't seem to care all that much, from what I can tell from interviews. They guy is married to a hot bombshell-blond wife who seems smart to boot, so I doubt it means much to him as long as he keeps getting work. The funny thing is, he has already gotten a few leading man roles on smaller budget movies, even before he was in Star Wars.

Yes, it sucks. But women, beautiful and ugly, in movies and online and just walking down the sidewalk, deal with this shit every fucking day. Every day some loser just haaaassss to tell us what they think about our appearance. Every day. At least he's got a nice paycheck and a ton of perks to offset the scrutiny.
