I've never worn a cute bra or cute underwear. I want to, but I feel like I'll be so embarrassed if I actually wear it. I live with my parents right now so ordering online's a no go and I'd die if I bought them in a store.

I haven't really either, but honestly that's because I abhor most women's underwear.

That being said, a store might not be a bad idea. It's their job, and it's best to actully fit bras.

If you go to a store that only sells underwear, then everyone is in there for the same thing. The staff in there won't judge you for buying underwear because they sell it all day long to lots of different people.

Also, barring wardrobe malfunction and x-ray vision, nobody will know what bra and undies you're wearing under your clothes.

Ordering online without trying stuff on is a good way to saddle yourself with bras/underwear that are pretty, but don't fit. Try stuff on in person, your boobs will thank you.

I would love to get a lot of pretty lingerie but I'd have a hard time justifying the expense to myself.

"Cute" underthings generally make me really uncomfortable because I have sensitive skin. :/

I wish I could wear cute bras, but for some reason, manufacturers think that people with boobs my size want dowdy boulder holders with super wide straps. And the cute ones I do find are way out of my price range and/or really uncomfortable. At least I can wear cute undies.

Don't be embarrassed about buying them in the store! I was the first time, especially because the only person at the checkout counter was a guy, but everyone buys underwear and it's not like you're gonna see the salespeople again. Well, you might if you go often, but they've got other things on their mind and likely won't remember you.

Cute underwear isn't necessary unless 1) it makes you feel good to wear it or 2) someone else will see it and you want them to be pleased.

I tend to find "cute" for bras means "has bows and lumps that show under clothing and might not be comfortable even if properly fitted." I like wearing cute underwear, but I have limits for everyday wear. I've occasionally managed to find bras that are cute enough to make me feel good but are still comfortable, though. (I really like Wacoal's Halo lace underwire. I just wish they'd offer it in colors more often.)

Anyway, If you want to give it a whirl, I second just going to a store and not worrying what the sales people think. I used to work in a store that sold condoms and enemas and anti-diarrhea medication and acne cream. It was just product and I didn't judge the people who bought it.

Eh, I never wear that stuff either, because I hate bra shopping and it's easier to just buy the plain white/beige/black bras that I know fit me* and grab a pack of generic underwear.

Besides, who is going to see it? I mean I know a lot of people wear that stuff because they like it, which is fine, but for me there's no point when nobody else is ever going to look at it.

*this is easy because I'm an A cup and don't wear padding or underwires. I think it would be much harder if I was larger-busted.

You can get a P.O. box and have things delivered there.
