A Native American story about the moon having a fabulous necklace of pearls, but a raven stole them, broke the necklace, and the pearls scattered across the sky and became the stars.

Also the NA story about the opossum stealing fire from the sun using his beautiful tail that was covered in fine silky fur, singeing the hair off his tail forever in the process.
