(Anonymous) 2016-01-16 11:51 pm (UTC)(link)If it helps, maybe decide on some weirder, unconventional fashion aspects that nevertheless suit you? you could use it as an armor of self-expression instead of an "offer".
expressing your taste is also a way to show confidence. it's hit or miss, but many people like others better for it.
as long as you look like you care about your appearance it you will most likely still get benefits from this and improve your employment chances without feeling like you're selling out.
