Sorry, I cropped it for aesthetics, the original was kinda unwieldy(...it's an ugly looking secret anyway, it's an older cartoon that hasn't gotten much love from screencappers). I could have sworn I wrote the name of the show there though!

Sorry everybody. That's Virgil and Richie from the show Static Shock, and the show is really amazing in terms of not flinching away from some hard truths. It's dated to be sure, but honestly it really surprised me how far they took things.

In one episode about gang violence, Richie gets shot. Even though it obviously isn't fatal, that was heavy shit that I haven't seen cartoons aimed at the tween/teen demographic do before or since.

Jesus Christ people I cleared it up in a comment, I though I wrote the damn name there but shit happens and apparently it didn't go through even though I always try and name the series for my secrets and this is the first time I've had a problem, sorry can we chill now? Multiple people including myself have mentioned the name of the show over and over.
