I have only ever commissioned fanart once, and the artist (a needle felter) didn't use guilt-tripping tactics. I think I would have been put off her if she had, and likely never put my commission in with her as a result.

However because she didn't do that stuff, and she was great about me paying it off in installments (felties to be sent after it was fully paid), I got two adorable Transformers needle-felted figures that are on display, on a shelf across the room from me right now.
