What have you just got in into? Or what was the last ship you got into? Or what do you just really want to talk about?

Hux/Kylo has become my obsession, it is currently my third favorite ship after my two OTPs from my main fandom. I've been devouring fics. To the point that I stayed up half the night a couple nights ago reading everything I could get my hands on.

I like that it is more active than my main OTPs, but at the same time this means there is more badfic to slog through to find the good stuff. Still, I'm relatively pleased with the ratio of good fic to bad fic.

And I'm starting to develop clear headcanons for these two.

That's really interesting (especially since I don't feel like Hux was that well-developed) - what appeals about it to you?

Saaaame I'm obsessed! Talk to me about Hux/Kylo. I'm not on tumblr so I don't have anyone else to fan with.

Something about the pairing I just like. I am surprised about the ratio of good fic to bad so far. And there's a refreshing lack of shitty AUs. (For now.)

Although the other day I stumbled across a truly godawful songfic with both of them acting like teenage girls. (Well, one of them, Kylo already acts like a teenage girl lbr.)

I have fallen fast and hard for Kylo Ren/Poe. ;;;;;

I've been writing a ton of Star Wars fics lately, and most of them fit in line with my older character/younger character shipping model: Han/Rey, Leia/Rey, Luke/Rey, Han/Poe, Han/Finn, and some of the more traditional pairings for the movies.

John Wick/Winston

I like May/December romances and I liked how Winston was the only person to call him Jonathan and he twice seemed to break the rules for John. Also, I find the whole Hotel and gold coins world-building to be really interesting.

The Man From UNCLE fic. So, so much of it. I have an ungodly crush on Armie Hammer because of that movie.

I've been watching Genshiken Nidaime, and while Hato/Madarame is exactly as mad cute as I was hoping, Sue/Ogiue is a strong contender for my heart as well. "OGIUE CHIKA IS MAI WAIFU" and all that. ;A;

Reylo and ReyFinn!!!! I can't get enough of either of them!

Uh...well I'm shipping Rey/Finn from The Force Awakens, but I admit that I haven't done much reading at all yet. It isn't that I'm not interested, I've just been busy gaming lately.

Still massively into Hannibal/Will, though again, haven't read fic lately. It's kind of difficult for me to find Hannibal fic I like anyway.

Oh, and Agent Carter just returned, and I'm feeling a bit of everything in that show. I don't tend to multi-ship much, but something about Peggy...she just seems to pair so well with so many people. Angie, Dottie, Wilkes, Peggy/Sousa is even growing on me, and I was not at all feeling that by the end of last season. (I think the show has handled the pairing awkwardly, but regardless, I'm more fond of it now then I was last season. Can't even tell you why, tbh.)

Peggy/Dottie is the one that I think is going to blow up this season though, and I'm looking forward to it. Dottie is so great and her obsession (and clear attraction to) with Peggy is fantastic; I've read a couple interviews that make me suspect (perhaps wrongly) that Peggy and Dottie could work together at some point this season, and I want that more than just about anything right now. (Well, that and Angie's return.)

Minako/Rei from Sailor Moon. I didn't ship them as a kid, but I've been re-watching the series and now I think they'd be cute together.

Mildly doing Stormpilot.

TFA got me into finally completing Knights of the Old Republic 2, first vanilla, and then with the fan-made "restoration" mod. I seem to ship Atris/FemExile (although the line supporting it in my playthrough might be a bug). Brianna/MaleExile is another, although the presentation of it is eye rolling.

I might have to do KOTOR and Jade Empire again. I'm exclusively on Linux now so I have to see how well they run under wine.

EDIT: Oh, and since I'm getting around to watching Voyager, Paris/Kim.

Well, I don't know if this really counts, but lately I've been replaying FFXIII in preparation for finally playing FFXIII-2 and LR, and all of my Fang/Vanille feelings have returned full force (not to mention my massive crush on Fang). I've been making my way through the Fang/Vanille tag on Ao3, but my craving fic may soon end up leading me back to the dark depths of ff.n in pursuit of more.

Ah, well, tonight's "Criminal Minds" just further proved why I've been really liking the idea of Rossi and Tara Lewis lately.

I started watching the Poirot series on Netflix. Poirot/Hastings. My heancanon is that Ms. Lemon is a lesbian but currently single.

I can't say I'm particularly shippy about it, but I really want people to talk about Ace of the Diamond with. I haven't been in an anime fandom in more than 10 years...

I can see what the obvious ships would be, though. A battery is automatically a pretty close pairing, and there's different variations all over. The only one I would really be interested in though would be Sawamura/Chris, because Chris is my favorite. And then middle infield duos are similar to batteries (I already sort of think of long-term mlb infielders as pairings...), so that makes Kuramochi/Kominato an obvious ship. I think it's almost canonical that Haruichi has a crush on Sawamura, tbh.

Then there's rivalries. Internal ones like Sawamura/Furuya (rivals for the ace title), and external ones like Miyuki/Mei (former friends, now on opposing teams) or any cross-team pairing.

But overall I just want to talk about it with some people!

I just powered through three seasons of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, and goddamn, both Joseph/Caesar and Jotaro/Kakyoin (and a little bit Jotaro/Polnareff) hit me like a fucking truck.

I was describing Battle Tendency to a friend, and accidentally typoed that the action was "balls to the balls" instead of balls to the walls, and honestly I think my typo was more accurate.
