I'm sorry that you feel that way. Like, I really am - it absolutely sucks when people are really loving something and you just don't care for it. It's really hard not to let that turn into bitterness.

But I also hope you can kinda fight that urge. It would be really cool if fandom in general could move beyond a place where not liking a thing means you have to be a supervillain and try and destroy it and we could avoid the endless waves of stand and anti-stan wars.

Oh, yeah, I'm not raining on anybody's parade over it! That's the first time I've mentioned I dislike it, actually.

(It also creeps me out that people ship/write fic about the characters, since they were real people -- I mean, I know RPF is a pretty common thing, and the musical's highly fictionalized anyway? But still.)
