Eh, that old game looks like shit. Sorry. :/ It's why I can't play it. And I'm sure teh game play and everything else is fine, it just looks bad.

It's why I'm happy we're getting the remake. So I can finally play it without wanting to gouge my eyes out.

Yeah, I played it a long time ago just to say I did and I have to say the graphics made it difficult for me to enjoy. Also, it was pretty heavy in terms of the plot. But I'm thinking of trying to play it again just to see if I've changed regarding aesthetics and if I hold that at such a high value as I did when I was a kid. I recommend trying to play it (if you have it on hand) just to see though. Maybe you'll surprise yourself.

I....might. Maybe. I know it's available on the PS Store (i think) and since we just got a PS4 this christmas, well...I gotta put some games on it. All we have right now are LEGO Jurassic World and Star Wars Disney Infinity. :P And Battlefront, cause the SO was all 8O at the bundle price. So yeah.

Ugh, edited for some major typos there. I'm still sleepy. I got up less than an hour ago cause I didn't get to bed until after 11:00 this morning. X_x

The old game comes from that time when everything had to be 3D but they couldn't yet work out how to not make 3D look terrible.

I can't get past the graphics either, will never play it. Fantastic soundtrack though. Looking forward to how they update Man With A Machine Gun.

Oh I know. And for it's time, it doesn't look bad. If I had had PS1 at the time and was able to play it when it came out, I'd probably be in the same boat as all of the other fans. But unfortunately, we couldn't afford one and my first foray into the FF universe was FFX when we finally got a PS2 my Junior year of High School. So....yeah...>_>
