Very unlikely OP knows about I'm Afraid of Americans and/or Dancing in the Street. I didn't know about Dancing in the Street until I was well in my 20s, and I was super into Bowie and the Rolling Stones when I was 17. And, well, most people haven't heard of I'm Afraid of Americans unless they listened to MTV at the exact right time in 1999.

Changes, Under Pressure, and Let's Dance have definitely all been in commercials, though.
