Because it's impossible for any adult to have been a fans since they were younger, still enjoy it in some way and take some time (like an hour or two before going to sleep) to participate in some way.

Yes, it has to be because issues, issues, issues and issues... Fandom self-deprecating image is getting worse and worse every day.
