Comprehensive Tovarisch!!!!! That whole manga makes me happy, but yeah, the teacher's skittish sweetness is endearing. Well, there's Oyajina!, if you're ok with most of the middle-aged mustached guys technically being teen girls who all got transformed (due to chemicals, as these things happen) and relationship hijinks.

it's not a manga, OP, (though i might as well be) but you should read transformers: more than meets the eye. ;) there's a very moe mustachioed older gentleman transformer in that series who is THE cutest.

You have to realize that mustaces and beards aren't that common among Japanese people, so you won't see them as much in manga.

That argument is counter-intuitive. Blue (or green or red or yellow) hair is rare among Japanese people and there isn't anyone in the world who was born with blue or green hair, but it's common enough in anime.
