that the real reason I've become so immersed
in this series [Miraculous Ladybug]
is that being in the fandom is like coming back home
to my first internet fandom [Saint Tail]
...and more specifically, to my first
(and still all-time greatest) OTP

it feels like being fourteen years old all over again
(...which is incredibly embarrassing when in fact,
I'm now the other side of thirty)

The excuse I see most often when it comes to lusting over underage animated characters is "s/he doesn't LOOK like a kid!"

Yeah, that went over well when I was 12 and my breasts and figure was very developed for my age and got hit on by older boys repeatedly. Ugh.
